Our commitment to our clients continues for as long as necessary to ensure independent success for each client. Initially, we focus our efforts on ensuring our clients are able to successfully re-enter their school or work environment. Our academic staff coordinate with a child’s school to ease the transition and continue to support the child after school until he/she is independently using their improved reading, spelling, writing or comprehensionn skills (typically 4 to 8 weeks). Our parent education process is designed to help families learn how to effectively support further development of their child's improved skills beyond the gains made during our treatment program.

 

For our adult clients we help formulate plans for implementing their new skills in their work environment. We provide practice using their newly improved reading, spelling, writing, or comprehension skills with their materials from their work place. Our goal is to enable each of our clients to independently use their newly improved skills. Also, we aim to ensure that these foundational skills will continue to improve on their own as the client uses them during work or leisure reading or language activities.  Lastly, we can train a spouse or partner to provide on-going support for the continued development of the adult learner's new skills long after our treatment program has been completed.
