The Morris Center provides a SOLUTION for children and young adults who are hindered by learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, sensorimotor disorders and/or attention deficit disorder.  We apply a unique program (supported by long-term scientific evidence) that has helped our clients re-enter their schools or work place with improved skills that are consistent with their expected range of academic and job potential.  Our treatment program is fundamentally different  from  the approach employed by “typical” learning centers that use tutoring programs to improve weak language or learning skills — these programs do not attempt to understand the source of the difficulty, they only seek to treat the symptom.  Our approach uses an interdisciplinary treatment model that first identifies the most likely cause or causes of the difficulty and then provides an individualized treatment program that focuses on improving the weaker skills that are most likely contributing to the learning or language difficulty.
