Suspect Learning, Sensory Processing or Behavior Difficulties?
Unlock Your or Your Child's True Learning Potential, Achieve Academic & Occupational Success, and Build Self-esteem

The Morris Center provides a unique, research-based treatment program that helps children and adults improve weak skills, achieve academic success, build self-esteem and reach occupational goals. Using an interdisciplinary model since 1986, we have treated more than 700 clients. Our unique treatment program helps individuals dramatically improve their language-based skills (reading, spelling, writing, speaking, and comprehending North American English), sensory & motor skills (including sensory processing), attention, and confidence in their learning capabilities. Overall, we help individuals achieve academic and occupational success. This website provides essential information about diagnosis and effective treatment of language, sensorimotor, sensory processing, attention, behavior and learning difficulties.

"Warning Flags: When you or a parent should Take Further Action"**

**Learning difficulties do NOT go away with age or time. Children do not "outgrow" learning difficulties. Suggestions to "wait and see" may actally mean "wait for him/her to experience more failure." Without the proper treatment, children with learning difficulties can grow up to become adults with learning difficulties. Only the proper treatment can change their weaker learning, sensory, motor, language, attention, behavior or academic skills into strengths; many of their other skills may already be strengths too. Our unique interdisciplinary team and individualized treatment programs can dramatically improve learning, language, sensorimotor, sensory processing, attention, behavior and academic skills. Our individually tailored program is highly successful regardless of whether our client is 4 years-old or 84 years-old.

"I feel like you all saved his life! He reads out loud in class now. At The Morris Center he grew at least 5 years in his reading skills!"

Spring, 2009; comments from a parent of a teenage client who was more than 7 years behind in reading and spelling skills, despite years of specialized tutoring and training by other professionals and educational learning centers.
